Santanyí, Mallorca
This project is a 470 sqm luxury rustic villa in Santanyí, designed by CMP Architekturbüro for an international developer focused on the island's high end market. The brief was straightforward: produce the imagery needed to sell the property off plan, before construction even began.
The difficulty went beyond technical accuracy. The villa had to feel genuinely Mallorcan, built around natural, harmonious materials typical of the area's stone and timber, and native vegetation that hadn't yet been fully defined at that stage of the project. Much of the garden and the surrounding atmosphere was developed from visual references, making sure every element sat naturally within the real landscape of Santanyí rather than looking added on afterwards.
To strengthen that connection to the site, the work included blending the renders into real drone photography, so the villa appeared seated in its plot and surroundings with complete credibility. It took several rounds of revision, fine tuning light, planting and materials, until the whole scene carried the Mediterranean atmosphere the client was after.
The images did their job well enough that the client later came back asking for an extended set of views, a fair sign the visuals had delivered commercially.
