Artic3D is my freelance 3D architectural visualisation studio, specialising in luxury villas and homes in Mallorca. I'm Benjamín Matamalas, and I've spent more than 15 years working with architects, property developers and high-end real estate agencies. I work across the whole island, especially in the southeast and southwest: Santanyí, Ses Salines, Campos, Felanitx, Palma, Calvià, Sol de Mallorca and Andratx, among other areas. Unlike a studio with a team, I handle every project personally from start to finish, which allows me to know each project in detail and offer a level of follow-up that a larger agency can't always provide. You can see real examples of my work in the portfolio.
I work with architects, property developers and real estate agencies that sell or present high-end residential projects, mainly luxury villas in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands. I'm not the right fit for companies that need large volumes of low-cost renders, or for private individuals looking for a one-off visualisation of a renovation or interior makeover. My work is focused on high-impact images: the kind that don't just show finishes and specifications, but convey the atmosphere of a place and let the buyer feel it before it exists.
Pricing is quoted per complete project, not per individual image, and depends on several factors: the number of renders, the type of view (interior, exterior, aerial), whether the project includes integration with real drone photography to place the property in its actual setting, and whether 3D video animation is added. Depending on that combination of factors, my projects range between 2,000 € and 30,000 €. To find out where your project falls within that range, send me your plans and references.
The standard timeframe is 3 to 4 weeks from budget approval, and within that period I usually deliver between 10 and 15 final renders of a property. Projects with more views, or that combine renders with animation or a virtual tour, require more time, always specified in the initial quote.
The price includes the entire production process through to final delivery: renders in high and low resolution, files prepared for large-format printing, and whatever adjustments to materials, furniture, lighting and composition are needed along the way (changing a sofa, tweaking a finish, moving an element), with no fixed number of revision rounds while the project is in production and within a normal, reasonable workflow. Major structural changes (modifying the layout, redesigning the garden or landscaping) fall outside the fixed quote and are priced separately, although in practice they're rare: by the time a project reaches its final stage, those decisions are usually settled.
Yes, and one thing is guaranteed from the start: I don't delete the project files. The complete 3D model, the scenes and the images are kept safe and available, so picking the project up again months later doesn't mean starting from scratch. On that basis, during the sales phase I remain available for specific requests involving what has already been modelled: viewing a room from a different angle, generating a view of an area of the property that wasn't included in the original brief, or adjusting a small detail in an image already delivered. What it doesn't cover is adding elements that didn't exist in the original project (a new piece of furniture, an extension, a design change), because that's a new commission and is quoted separately.
The only essential thing is the project's floor plan (in DWG, PDF or Revit): with that I can already prepare a quote. Everything else helps but is optional: the specifications document for finishes and materials, construction details, landscaping or interior design projects, reference photographs, and a rough idea of the views you need. The more information there is from the start, the more accurate the quote and the fewer back-and-forths during the project.
No. I work remotely with clients across Spain and with international developers and agencies operating in Mallorca; the entire process (briefing, revisions and delivery) is handled online. Distance doesn't affect the quality or the follow-up of the project.
Yes. Since a large share of the buyers and developers in Mallorca are international (German, British, Scandinavian), the entire process (quote, briefing, communication and delivery) can be handled entirely in English.
Yes, but not in the way most people imagine: my images are not generic AI generations, they are professional 3D renders. The modelling is my own, the rendering is real, the textures and materials are of professional quality, and the composition, lighting direction and final finish are decided by me at every stage. Within that process, AI comes into play on three fronts:
In addition, at the final stage I apply my own image-enhancement process that lifts the result above a conventional render; the how is part of my working methodology.
Luxury villas and homes are my main speciality, although I also work on residential developments, terraced houses and apartment buildings. I've worked across the whole island: from rustic fincas and country homes in the southeast (Santanyí, Ses Salines, Campos, Felanitx), with exterior renders integrated over real drone photography to place the property in its landscape, to contemporary luxury villas in the southwest, in areas such as Sol de Mallorca, with hyper-realistic interiors and exteriors for international marketing. I've collaborated with agencies and developers such as Engel & Völkers Mallorca, Promotora Reina, Grupo Aransa and Sunset Group Mallorca, and with local and international architecture studios such as Mora Arquitectura, CMP Architekten, Arnold/Werner Architekten and Dietmar K. Teich, among others.
Besides photorealistic renders (my speciality, above all in luxury villas and homes in Mallorca), I offer interactive 360º virtual tours, 3D video animation, 3D video animation integrated over real footage, and product and furniture modelling and rendering. All of these services are designed to support the marketing of high-end residential projects, from the presentation of the project through to off-plan sales.
The essential starting point is a floor plan: with that I can prepare a fixed quote and a delivery timeframe. You can send it through whichever channel suits you best (contact form, email, phone or video call). From there, the more additional information available, the better the result: the specifications document for finishes and materials, construction details, landscaping or interior design projects, or reference photographs. Not everyone has all of this, and that's fine: the floor plan is the only must; everything else can be added as it becomes available.
