This 350 sqm luxury villa in Manacor, a blend of rustic and contemporary design, was commissioned for one clear purpose: producing the visuals needed to sell it off-plan. The client, a leading luxury real estate agency on the island, needed renders strong enough to convey the project's value before construction even began.
The brief carried its own difficulty. The architecture combined a contemporary language, clean lines, large openings, pure volumes, with traditional Mallorcan details such as exposed stone, timber joinery and Arabic tile roofing. Getting that balance right in the visualization, without the rustic elements feeling forced or the modern ones feeling cold, meant paying close attention to every material and texture.
Mediterranean light was the other decisive factor. It had to fall convincingly on the stone, reach into the interiors and highlight the contrast between the crafted and the contemporary. Several versions of each scene, both exterior and interior, went through rounds of adjustment to framing and materials until the client was fully satisfied with the result.
The renders did their commercial job, and the project led to something more lasting: the agency came back for further projects after this villa.
