This project involved the architectural visualization of a rustic Mallorcan stone house with a pool in Santanyí, designed as a home with real character, faithful to the region's traditional building style while offering the comforts expected of a contemporary luxury property. The commission came from an architecture studio that needed images capable of showing the project before construction, with the stone, joinery and surrounding landscape resolved with the same rigor as a technical drawing.
The challenge was the stone itself: capturing its texture, its irregularity, and the way Mediterranean light falls on it at different times of day, without ending up with a flat or artificial finish. The house needed to feel like a building with history, warm inside and understated outside, with the pool acting as a point of tension between Santanyí's dry landscape and the stone architecture.
The work went through several rounds of revision, adjusting materials, vegetation and framing until every render matched the intent of the project precisely. The result was a set of 3D exterior and interior renders that work both for presenting the design and for its future marketing, with a photorealistic atmosphere that highlights the house's rustic yet exclusive character.
