Sol de Mallorca, Calvià
Villa Bahía Azul is a modern luxury home designed by architect Dietmar K. Teich, and the brief was straightforward on paper: show the client exactly how the house would look before a single wall went up. Behind that simplicity was a project still on the drawing board, one that needed enough visual precision for the owner to make real decisions with confidence.
The real challenge was the architecture itself. This isn't a box with openings cut into it; the whole volume works as a sculptural piece, where every plane and fold depends on the others to make the structure work, both structurally and spatially. Translating that into renders meant reading the project almost the way the architect himself would, and treating construction detail with a level of care that leaves no room for shortcuts.
The work covered exterior and interior renders, blended with real drone photography taken over the actual plot in Sol de Mallorca. That integration mattered: it was the only way to show how the villa engages with its surroundings, with Mediterranean light moving across the volumes and materials reading exactly as they would once built. Getting there took several rounds of revisions until the visuals matched the architect's intent down to the detail.
The result was convincing enough that Dietmar K. Teich's studio came back for several later projects, all sharing that same level of complexity and demand for detail.
